Are twin flames meant to be lovers? Is it written in the stars? Is it always going to work out?

The short answer is Yes, twin flames are meant to be lovers. However this doesn’t mean it’s always going to work out that way in a single lifetime. The twin flame journey is for the long-run.

I wrote about twin flame friendship here yesterday and sometimes that’s how the connection can play out in a lifetime (sometimes even less than that). Even when the ideal result is that both twin flames become lovers it doesn’t mean that it’s always going to happen in a single lifetime.

TL;DR: Yes. But that might not mean what you expect. If you’re struggling on your twin flame journey, tell me what you’re going through and get a twin flame reading.

Are twin flames meant to be lovers?

The direct answer to this question is yes, twin flames are meant to be your lovers. However, it doesn’t always happen that way. Just because you cross paths with your twin flame, it doesn’t signify that you’ll fall in love forever — it doesn’t work that way, unfortunately. There are circumstances where your twin flame could be in another relationship, engaged, married, or isn’t ready to jump into another relationship yet. The very purpose of meeting your twin flame is to help each other grow and learn certain lessons as you can’t do that alone. This is why your twin flame connection isn’t a worldly one, but a divine and powerful one. They feel exactly what you do and they’re there to help you grow into the best version of yourself. Twin flames are meant to be your lovers, but it doesn’t always happen immediately. On the circumstance that it does happen to you, treasure every moment with your twin flame, especially the lessons they’ll help you learn along the journey of your relationship. Your twin flame is meant to be your lover given your unified soul, which explains why they can sense what you feel right away and vice versa.

Why are twin flames meant to be lovers?

We’ve already mentioned above some characteristics of twin flames that make them lovers such as their ability to feel one another’s feelings. Twin flames are divine relationships and can never compare to any existing worldly relationship. In the following, we’ll be discussing the factors that make them meant to be lovers.

1. Deep emotional connection

The moment you cross paths and interact with your twin flame, you’ll have this feeling as if you’ve known them your whole life — like your soul recognizes who they are. This is your twin flame connection taking place as it’s the strongest and most intense connection you’ll ever feel in your life. While overwhelming, they’ll know you in ways that nobody else can. Your twin flame is someone who knows both the good and bad aspects of you, which is why you’re meant to be lovers. They’ll never judge you based on your past and worst mistakes, given that you’ll help each other grow and become better. You can try, but no other relationship can compare to what you have with your twin flame. In fact, because of your deep connection, you may find yourself loving your twin flame harder in a way that feels natural to you — and the same goes for them.

2. Mental connection

When you’re with your twin flame, you feel understood and heard. There’s a huge difference between listening and hearing, and your twin flame manages to highlight that difference. They understand you for who you truly are, without judging you for your flaws and imperfections. You feel as if you’re the only two people in the world when you’re with your twin flame. You never run out of things to talk about, but this doesn’t mean that you aren’t comfortable to sit in silence. Even with the things you aren’t saying, they know what you’re trying to communicate. You naturally vibe with your twin flame and that’s something you don’t have to force, unlike your other relationships.

3. Physical connection

Since you’re radiating the same energy or frequency, there’s this physical attraction drawing you to one another. As you come together in physical intimacy, this is where you truly experience oneness. Once this happens, you may start to see yourself from a different perspective, having more self-awareness and consciousness. This is where healing begins and you start to experience yourself letting go of everything that broke you, whether it’s trauma or past relationships. You should also know that physical intimacy isn’t always about connecting bodies, but simply crossing the touch barrier of one another, whether it’s holding hands or touching. You feel drawn to your twin flame naturally, even when you just met them. You must not mistake this for lust or infatuation, but something much bigger than yourself.

4. Spiritual connection

If anything, twin flame connections are more divine and spiritual than any other aspect. This is the aspect that’s missing from all your other relationships, but something you’ll have with your twin flame, resulting in the purest form of love. Even miles away, you can feel their presence in the simplest way. This is the last aspect as a twin flame connection normally has all four aspects, which is why it’s so powerful, intense, and overwhelming. However, you can only have all aspects when you and your twin flame have done their parts in healing and growth. You can’t expect to have all aspects when there’s still a specific trauma that’s holding you back from reaching your full potential.

In conclusion, I hope this article was able to answer the question ‘are twin flames meant to be lovers?’ You can only have one twin flame and most often than not, they are meant to be your lovers — but they don’t always end up yours. When you don’t end up with your twin flame, it could be because they’re not ready and haven’t learned the necessary lessons to be with you. As said, you need complete healing to experience something divine with your twin flame. The emotions that come with a twin flame connection are often intense and too powerful to bear, making it possible for them not to be ready.
