Do Twin Flames Marry?

Do twin flames marry? Are they destined to get married? Is it written in the stars?

This is a similar question to one I recently covered on are twin flames meant to be lovers? The short answer here is that yes, twin flames are meant to be lovers and that means they’re meant to marry (if that’s how they choose to express that love).

But this doesn’t mean marriage is a requirement for twin flames. This kind of connection goes above the more… traditional relationship and whether or not they choose to make it official doesn’t matter nearly as much as following their spiritual path towards union.

Do twin flames marry?

In short, yes they do. But not all of them marry. Being a twin flame is a little bit of a confusing relationship, especially to those who have never found their twin flame. It’s incredibly unique and special.

People are often concerned over what is expected of them in a relationship such as this. What is the nature of it? There is no certain expected type of relationship from this. Some get married, some are best friends, some choose to remain at a physical distance from each other.

A lot of people assume that twin flames are supposed to be life-long partners who always stay together and who know each other so well that they never have even one problem.

Partners Forever

That is true for some. Maybe our twin flames are supposed to be our romantic partners for life, but it’s not that simple at all.

A twin flame is our partner across many lives and in many ways but that doesn’t necessarily mean they will play that romantic role for each other in life. They are always spiritual partners but may already have their life long physical partner, be married and in love with that person.

Most people are never lucky enough to find their twin flame. When they do, if they already have a life partner, it can be dangerous. Be very careful not to give up your marriage or long-time relationship to be with your twin flame.

Now if you are unhappy in your relationship then the appearance of your twin flame may be what opens your eyes to the fact that the relationship you are in isn’t where you need to be.

Your Own Special Journey

Friends and loved ones mean well and tend to give advice on what they think we should do with our lives but this is a journey that we have to travel on our own so it is something that we must decide for ourselves.

Spiritual Intuition and That Little Voice

Within our own self is where we will find the answer on whether we should marry our twin flame or not. That little voice inside will tell us what we need to do, all we need is to pay attention to it and follow what it tells us.

Sometimes whether we realize it or not, we stop listening to what our intuition says because what it says is not what we want to hear. We want something so badly that we make ourselves believe we hear our spirit telling us this is what we need to do. Sometimes we think it’s what we should do.

If this is happening to you then you are not in tune with your spirit guide. That can be a dangerous thing. Marrying your twin flame because it’s what you want, or not marrying them because you think that is what is expected of you can lead to very serious mistakes. It can damage one or both of you and even lead to an abusive relationship.

Twin Flames Match and Marry

Twin flames match each other in so many ways so it only seems natural for them to get married. Their values, energy, and so much more match that quite a few do end up in a ceremony. It’s the idea outcome for them.

Before taking that step though, you need to know that getting married opens up a whole other level of intimacy, another level of connection. There is no limits on the love shared between the two of you and the passion is beyond anything you could ever imagine. You just have to follow what your heart and guide says to be able to figure out how to reach that level of bliss.

Physical Chemistry

Twin flames are so in tune with each other’s wants and needs. The physical chemistry between the two is like no other. The intensity in their desire and intimacy towards each other is incredible. Anywhere from the way they look at one another, the little things they do for each other to the closeness they have in the bedroom, the chemistry between them is unmatched by any other.

Their chemistry reaches to all areas of their marriage. They understand each other, can finish each other’s sentences, and can tell what the other is thinking. You know why the other does the things they do; you know what motivates them. You can read each other’s minds; your souls are connected.

With all of this going for them, you would think that all twin flames would make a perfect marriage but that is just not so. It’s not the case at all.

Why Not Get Married?

One of the main reasons twin flames do not get married is simply because that is not the nature of their particular relationship. Remember that they are spiritual, marriage is not.

There are different things that can cause them to not marry. One or both may already be married and incredibly happy in their marriage. Another reason can be that there is a large age gap between them. That is not acceptable within some cultures. Another big reason can be gender. Most twin flames are of the same sex and they have no bisexual or homosexual tendencies. Distance and religion can also play a huge factor in this decision.

There is absolutely nothing wrong in twin flames never marrying each other. It’s normal. The main thing to remember is that no matter the nature of their relationship, it’s a beautiful thing.
